What actually moves engineers from stuck to clarity — even while AI is rewriting everything.
From field-tested approaches to practical skills you can use under pressure — I'll help you get moving again, even on that one issue that you just can't seem to budge.
You want your head clear. You want to perform at your best.
But right now? It feels overwhelming and like you can't figure it out no matter what you try.
I get it — I've been there too.
I'm Hunter Milligan — former software developer and leader. For a long time I couldn't figure out how to handle the pressure at work or at home. So I spent decades finding, testing, and refining what actually worked. What I teach works in the trenches — and it's helped a lot of people who think the way you do move what wasn't moving.
Over the last 15 years I've coached engineers and technical leaders one on one and in groups. I'm regularly invited to speak at ÜberConf and TechLeader Summit.
But what really matters? I'm known for taking the mystery out of why you're stuck and showing you simple, field-tested practices that actually work, in the office and at home.

Why figuring it out isn’t the issue
Most people I work with are good at thinking things through.
They’ve reflected, analyzed, and tried to understand what’s happening.
The problem isn’t a lack of insight.
The problem shows up in the moment —
during real conversations, real decisions, and real pressure —
when there isn’t time to stop and think.
That’s where things tend to break down.
Not because you don’t know enough,
but because knowing doesn’t always help you move through what’s happening.
